Your comparison between radio and television facing the same disruption pattern is particularly striking. I think what often gets overlooked in these conversations is that while the technology changes rapidly, human adaptation follows a more predictable curve. The people who thrived during the radio-to-streaming transition weren't necessarily the ones with the most resources - they were the ones who understood that the medium was changing but the fundamental need for compelling content remained constant. What's different about the AI shift is that it's not just changing distribution, it's potentially changing creation itself. But even here, I suspect we'll see a similar pattern: AI will lower barriers to entry and create new opportunities for storytellers who understand how to use the tool without letting it dictate thier vision. The challenge is maintaining that creative agency while learning the new tools fast enough to stay relevant.
